The name Critonia portoricensis comes from an endemic Puerto Rican plant known for its resilience. Given the plant's characteristics, the name was chosen to honor Mother Nature's gifts. Critonia plant is also known as "Guerrero," the Spanish word for warrior.

CRÎTØNÏA is a non-binary/genre fluid Dj and producer from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Whose sound occupies the fluid space between Breakbeat, Electro and Techno. In which she explores the realm of latin rhythms with sub-genres like Dembow and influenced by Reggaeton.
